The Euro 2024 website fails as fans attempt to purchase German tickets.
The event is less than a month away, and on Thursday, about 100,000 tickets were made available.

The website for Euro 2024 has crashed once more as supporters are frantically trying to get tickets for Germany.

On Thursday morning, tickets for the games, which included Scotland’s tournament opener against the hosts in Munich, were made available to about 100,000 fans.

However, when prospective customers entered a queue and saw an error message, they were irate.

A malfunctioning captcha system that required users to enter a code that wasn’t visible on the screen prevented others from accessing the website.

After being unable to get their hands on the coveted tickets, a number of supporters have resorted to social media to voice their disapproval at the situation.

It is anticipated that tens of thousands of Tartan Army supporters would travel, many of them without tickets, to take in the atmosphere during what looks to be an incredible football summer.

In just over a month, Steve Clarke’s team will play Germany in the tournament opener. Following that, a month of football featuring the majority of the continent’s best players will take place.

In an attempt to make history by qualifying for the knockout stages of a major tournament, Scotland will also play Switzerland and Hungary.

On July 14, the final will take place in Berlin.
