Kris Boyd fears Philippe Clement Philippe Clement is on the verge of quitting as Rangers manager.
The Belgian boss in the midst of an Ibrox overhaul as he tries to improve standards after their two seasons of underachievement. But he suggested recently the goalposts may have changed on him, being quizzed on the club’s capabilities in the transfer market and replying: “I had other expectations when I came in in October, I have to say.”
So far in the summer window, Gers have brought in a number of young players who look to have promise but are still unproven. The manager also admitted he had to ship some out before bringing anybody else in, meaning there could be a wait for proven quality, with the new season just a week away.Former Light Blues boss Boyd is fearful after those comments from the manager and reckons they might come someone who is ready to walk way.
