The most productive WR trio in the ACC is back for Miami football.
Three wide receivers on the Miami football team’s squad combined for over 800 yards in 2023, making them the only players in the ACC with such a distinction.

Jacolby George, Xavier Restrepo, and Sam Brown, a transfer from Houston, are the only three wide receivers in the ACC to have 800 receiving yards in 2023. Miami expects to have a potent offense in 2024 with Brown, George, and Restrepo catching passes from running back Damien Martinez and quarterback Cam Ward.

In 2023, Brown had three touchdowns and 815 yards from 62 receptions for Houston. In 2023, George led the Hurricanes with eight touchdown receptions and was second on Miami with 57 grabs for 864 yards. In 2023, Restrepo recorded the most receptions for 1,092 yards and six touchdowns in a single season for Miami with 85.

JoJo Trader and Isaiah Horton are anticipated to be the starting wide receiver backups.

In 2023, Horton caught 13 passes for 168 yards and one touchdown. Horton was Miami’s third-choice starter wide receiver before Brown was signed. Horton is the tallest wide receiver on the Miami squad at 6’4″. If they stay healthy, Brown, George, and Restrepo will play most of the snaps.

As the starting slot receiver behind Restrepo, sophomore Nathaniel Joseph has a lot of potential. Anticipate that offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson to craft special chances for Joseph to be touched. WR depth is increased by Carr, Chance Robinson, and Bobby Washington.

Miami averaged 258.0 passing yards per game in 2023, which placed them 43rd nationally. Miami should have a potent passing attack with the return of George and Restrepo, along with the signing of Brown and Ward. Martinez gives Mark Fletcher balance while they run the ball. By 2024, Miami’s offensive line ought to have improved considerably.
