Nimari Burnett Is Heading Back To Michigan
Nimari Burnett choose Dusty May to run it back after moving in last year to play for Juwan Howard.
The Michigan basketball team’s official Instagram account reports that Nimari Burnett will return to Ann Arbor to play his senior year under new head coach Dusty May.
Burnett’s future was uncertain till now. His versatility and superb playmaking on both ends of the court made him seem like the kind of player who could return and help ease the transition from Juwan Howard to Dusty May. His play style, which combines agility, quickness, perimeter defense, driving to the hoop, and up-and-down movement nicely, should work well with May’s offensive and defensive schemes.

Burnett, a redshirt senior, was previously included in the most current breakdown of scholarship statistics. Like Burnett, Jace Howard is still on the list, although he hasn’t made any public announcements about his future as of yet.
