St Louis Battlehawks Loses One Linebacker to Injury, Adds Another to Former XFL Starter

From 2016–2018, Lewis played for Colorado in 38 games. He scored 167 tackles, including 11.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, one interception, and eight pass deflections.
The Battlehawks picked Buchanan in the 2023 Rookie Draft last summer. After being undrafted in the NFL last year, he was expected to make his first professional football game.
Buchanan made 326 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, three interceptions, four pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 52 games for Delaware from 2018–2022. In his career, he was named to the All-CAA team three times, including two times to the First Team in 2020 and 2022.
Strength of St. Louis’ linebackers, which are 11-deep on the roster, are the source of the defense.
