Slovakian forward Pavol Safranko has moved back to his former club
immediately after his departure from Mamelodi Sundowns.
It was on Thursday morning that Safranko’s expected departure from
Sundowns was conrmed after just a season with the club.
Safranko scored nine goals in 28 appearances during his time at Chloorkop where he won the DStv Premiership, Nedbank Cup, and MTN8.
However, with a new order of events at Sundowns, the 27-year-old has found
himself sacriced as the club reshufes its foreign quota for the new season
following the arrival of Ethiopian forward Abubeker Nasir Ahmed and Chilean midelder Marcelo Allende.
Without wasting much time after parting ways with Sundowns where he was
earning a six-gure salary, Safranko packed up and headed back to Romania where he was playing before arriving in South Africa.
