Breaking: 13th NCAA quarterback to surpass 15,000 passing yards in a career, Cam Ward, enters the elite ranks.

In college football history, Miami quarterback Cam Ward has made history as the 13th player to be acknowledged by the NCAA for reaching the incredible number of 15,000 career throwing yards. The accomplishment occurred during the Hurricanes’ dominant 50-15 victory over South Florida, who are now ranked seventh.

He is the first player in Miami history to open with four straight 300-yard passing games, having already passed for 1,439 yards in only four games this season. He has accumulated 15,315 yards in his career thus far.

Despite one interception, Ward completed 24 of 34 throws for 404 yards and three touchdowns in the game against USF. His performance cemented his standing as one of the best quarterbacks in the game.arterback’s entire professional life.

Tyson Bagent, who finished at Shepherd University with 17,034 yards.
Oklahoman Landry Jones, with 16,646 yards.
