Former outstanding Michigan Coach elected to Michigan sports HOF; statue should be next

Jim Harbaugh did a lot of great things for the Michigan football program during his time as the head coach. One of the best was hiring Sherrone Moore as the tight ends coach.

Eventually, Moore became the offensive line coach, the co-offensive coordinator, the offensive coordinator, an interim head coach for four games and finally the Michigan football head coach after Harbaugh left to take over the Chargers.

Moore talked about the process on the “Big Noon Conversations” with Joel Klatt. Moore told Klatt that at the beginning of the 2023 season, Harbaugh told Moore that he was going to have it put into his contract that if he ever left, Moore would be the next head coach.
