Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath Shares “Deified,” an instrumental song
Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath recently released a new instrumental track titled “Deified,” which was launched in conjunction with a new perfume of the same name, Xerjoff Group.
The keyboardist and frequent collaborator Mike Exeter coproduced “Deified” with the guitarist for Black Sabbath. Ben Andrew orchestrated the tune, with Karl Brazil on drums and Laurence Cottle on bass.
Iommi and Xerjoff collaborated on Deified, her second project after releasing the scent Monkey Special in 2021, which featured an instrumental music called “Scent of Dark.”
“I’m really excited about our new perfume and after the success of our last one [Monkey Special], I hope that you’ll like Deified as much as I do,” Iommi said in a prepared statement. “We’ve gone through the same process of trying different samples of perfume over the last year until we came up with this one, and I really like it.”
