According to a poll, Trump and Harris have about equal levels of support.
When it comes to support in the forthcoming presidential elections, US Vice President Kamala Harris trails current President Joe Biden less than former President Donald Trump. According to The New York Times, the findings of a poll done by Siena College Research Institute and The New York Times support this.
In the next elections, 47% of Americans are prepared to vote for Harris, while 48% of voters back Trump, according to this poll. Compared to a poll conducted by The New York Times in early July following Biden and Trump’s debate, this represents a big gain for Democrats.
With a margin of error of 3.3 percentage points, the most recent survey, which involved 1,142 Americans, was carried out between Monday and Wednesday.
November 5th is when the US presidential elections will take place. On July 21, outgoing President Joe Biden made the decision to step down from the election and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris’s bid for the nation’s top office.
