GSE Worldwide has signed Jessica Pegula, World No. 3 and top-ranked American tennis player and daughter of Bills and Sabres owners Terry and Kim Pegula, for representation. GSE Worldwide tennis agent Chris McCormack, the grandson of the late IMG founder Mark McCormack, is representing Pegula. She previously chose not to be represented by an established sports agency. Her current endorsements include Adidas, Yonex, Ready Nutrition, and Jessica Pegula’s own skincare line, Ready24. “Her Adidas contract is up at the end of 2023,” McCormack told SBJ. “Our initial focus will be finding several non-industry partners to enhance Jess’ global brand.”
Jessica Pegula, currently ranked World No. 3 and the highest-ranked American woman in tennis, has officially joined GSE Worldwide for representation, marking a significant development in her off-court career. The move comes as Pegula continues to rise in global prominence, not only for her consistent performances on the court but also for her expanding personal brand and business ventures.
Pegula, the daughter of Terry and Kim Pegula—owners of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills and NHL’s Buffalo Sabres—has carved her own path in the sports world, independently building a reputation as a formidable competitor and businesswoman. Until now, she had chosen not to align herself with a major sports agency, opting instead for a more self-managed approach to her endorsements and business interests. This decision underscored her desire for authenticity and control, but her new partnership with GSE Worldwide signals a new phase in her career, one aimed at expanding her reach and influence on a global level.
Pegula will be represented by Chris McCormack, a tennis agent at GSE Worldwide who brings a rich legacy to the role. McCormack is the grandson of the late Mark McCormack, the founder of IMG and widely regarded as the pioneer of modern sports management. With this deep-rooted experience in the world of sports representation, McCormack is well-positioned to guide Pegula through the next chapter of her career, both commercially and strategically.
“Jessica is a unique talent,” McCormack said in an interview with Sports Business Journal. “She’s not only a top-tier athlete but also a thoughtful, business-savvy individual who knows exactly how she wants to be portrayed and what partnerships align with her values. Our initial focus will be on identifying non-endemic partners—brands outside of traditional sportswear and tennis gear—that can help enhance Jess’s global brand.”
Pegula’s current endorsement portfolio already includes several high-profile names. She is partnered with Adidas for apparel, Yonex for her racquets, Ready Nutrition, and is the founder of her own skincare brand, Ready24. These endorsements reflect her dynamic interests across wellness, performance, and entrepreneurship. However, with her Adidas deal set to expire at the end of 2023, the timing of this agency signing is critical. It opens the door for GSE to explore fresh branding opportunities that go beyond the court, aligning Pegula with lifestyle, luxury, and tech brands that reflect her growing profile.
Her venture into skincare with Ready24 is particularly notable. Pegula isn’t merely a figurehead for the brand; she is directly involved in its development and marketing. The product line focuses on performance-oriented skincare, aiming to meet the needs of athletes and active individuals who want clean, effective products. This business endeavor demonstrates Pegula’s entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build something lasting outside the traditional bounds of a sports career.
This partnership with GSE Worldwide is poised to take Pegula’s brand to new heights. With a dedicated team handling negotiations, partnerships, and brand strategy, she can concentrate more fully on her tennis career while still capitalizing on her global appeal and personal brand. Her recent successes on the WTA Tour, including consistent Grand Slam performances and a strong presence at Premier events, have helped cement her status as one of the sport’s most reliable and marketable stars.
In a competitive era for tennis endorsements, Jessica Pegula is emerging not just as a dominant player, but also as a smart, strategic figure in the business of sports. With GSE Worldwide now in her corner, her influence is likely to expand well beyond the tennis court.
