The Parramatta Eels are delighted to announce that powerhouse forward Elsie Albert has re-signed with the Club for the 2026 and 2027 NRLW seasons.
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football, Mark O’Neill, said the Club is thrilled to have Elsie commit to the Eels for another two seasons.

“Elsie is an exceptional player and person, and we’re proud to see her continue her journey here at Parramatta,” O’Neill said. “Her leadership, work ethic, and presence on and off the field have made a huge impact on our playing group and the wider community. We know she’ll continue to be a driving force in our pursuit of success in the coming seasons.”
Elsie expressed her excitement at extending her time with the Eels.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be staying with Parramatta,” Elsie Albert said. “From the moment I joined the Club, I’ve felt a strong sense of belonging and support from my teammates, the staff, and our amazing fans. Wearing the blue and gold means a lot to me, and I can’t wait to keep building on what we’ve started and make our supporters proud.”
A trailblazer for Papua New Guinea women’s rugby league and captain of the national side, Elsie first made her NRLW debut with the St George Illawarra Dragons in 2020, where she played 15 games across three seasons. She joined the Eels in 2023 and has since added 20 appearances in the blue and gold, establishing herself as one of the most respected and influential forwards in the competition.
