Georgia continues to battle for No. 1 QB, former commit Jared Curtis
Jared Curtis, a five-star quarterback from Nashville Christian School in Tennessee, is a top prospect in the 2026 recruiting class. Standing at 6’4″ and weighing 225 pounds, Curtis has demonstrated exceptional talent on the field.
In his junior year, he completed 179 of 255 passes for 2,830 yards, achieving 40 touchdowns with only three interceptions. Additionally, he rushed for 637 yards and secured 18 touchdowns, leading his team to a state championship. His outstanding performance earned him titles such as Tennessee Gatorade Football Player of the Year and Tennessee Mr. Football.
Initially, Curtis committed to the University of Georgia in March 2024. However, he decommitted in October 2024 to explore other opportunities. Despite this, Georgia remains a strong contender in his recruitment. Curtis has included Georgia among his top six schools and has scheduled an official visit to Athens from June 13-15, 2025.
Other programs vying for Curtis’s commitment include Oregon, Ohio State, and South Carolina. He has planned official visits to Oregon from June 6-8 and to South Carolina from June 20-22. ([Dawn of the Dawg
