Netflix regarding the release of a documentary or trailers focusing on Jon Anderson’s life and career. Jon Anderson, born John Roy Anderson on October 25, 1944, in Accrington, Lancashire, England, is a renowned British-American singer and songwriter, best known as the former lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Yes.

In recent years, Anderson has remained active in the music industry. In May 2024, he announced the forthcoming release of a new nine-track solo album titled “True,” recorded in collaboration with The Band Geeks. The album, co-produced by Band Geek bassist and musical director Richie Castellano, was released on August 23, 2024, through Frontiers Records. It features longer-form works, including the nine-minute “Counties And Countries” and the sixteen-minute “Once Upon A Dream.” Prior to the album’s release, two singles were unveiled: “Shine On” on June 13, 2024, and “True Messenger” on July 29, 2024, both accompanied by music videos.

 

Additionally, on December 12, 2024, it was announced that a live album titled “Live – Perpetual Change” would be released on March 14, 2025, in various formats, including CD/DVD, vinyl, and Blu-ray. This album, recorded and filmed with The Band Geeks at The Arcada Theater in St. Charles, Illinois, in May 2023, comprises entirely of tracks from Yes’s classic seventies era.
