“Let me just state that even if I’m not pregnant, I wouldn’t want to have many kids because giving birth was a traumatic experience. However, I want to thank you for your blessings,” Osaka stated in her over 60,000-view video.Alongside rapper Cordae, Osaka delivered her first kid, a daughter named Shai, in July 2023.

She has already discussed the difficult pregnancy and delivery she went through.

Osaka disclosed that she had tested positive for Group B streptococcus during her pregnancy in an interview with InStyle published in December. This infection can result in stillbirths or in neonates developing sepsis or meningitis. She revealed that prior to going into birth, she had even written a will.

“I don’t think people know how hard pregnancy is; no one really talks about it as much,” Osaka stated to InStyle. “As you start off, you kind of imagine that this will be this lovely journey. However, it’s a little rough.

She further disclosed to the source that her labor lasted more than 12 hours and that her baby’s neck was wrapped in the umbilical cord.

Osaka recalled the moment the doctors instructed her to push, saying, “I do remember feeling in that moment, this is the worst pain of my life.” “And I know that if I get through this, then everything else will feel very easy.”

She revealed to Glamour in January that she suffered frightening physical changes as a result of giving birth to her daughter.

“Having a baby completely destroys your pelvic floor,” Osaka stated to Glamour. “I couldn’t get out of bed, so I was shocked. My first thought was, “I need to do a lot of sit-ups to rebuild this,” so I had to roll sideways, which took a very long time. And I discovered that’s absolutely not how things should be done. You should practice deep pelvic floor exercises.”

She continued by saying that she began training 15 days after giving child and expressed gratitude for having a “great team” around her to help with her recuperation, although she realized that this was a luxury that not many new mothers enjoyed.
