Center Grove AD Joe Bronkella has looked everywhere for games and a new conference affiliation.

One place they may not have looked into is The Circle City Conference.

Indianapolis Tech is leaving the North Central Conference after the current school year. Tech, Cathedral and Center Grove should consider combining with the 4 large Catholic schools in the CCC (Roncalli, Brebeuf, Guerin, Chatard) to form a new expanded Circle City Conference. Another possible member is Southport, currently the only remaining Indianapolis based school in Conference Indiana.

This would be a tremendous football and basketball conference, CG is a strong Christian faith based community and has long lasting relationships with Roncalli, Cathedral and Southport.

Its a terrible shame what has happened to Center Grove athletics. The heathens in the MIC and The HCC have turned their backs on Trojan athletics. Perhaps the Christian communities of The CCC would welcome CG with open arms, bring along Southport and Tech for game inventory, and convince Cathedral that this is the right thing to do.
