Florida State coach Mike Norvell addresses ‘failure’ of stunning 0-2 start. Here’s what he said…

With Florida State’s 2024 football season in danger of becoming a complete disaster after only two games, coach Mike Norvell knows he need to find answers quickly.

“I’m sick to how this season started. Tonight, I failed in preparing the team to go out and respond,” Norvell said after Monday night’s 28-13 loss to Boston College that dropped the defending ACC champions to 0-2, with both losses coming to conference opponents.

“You’ve got a football team that nobody envisioned ever being where we are and having disappointment, having failure, but I do believe in what this team can do,” Norvell said.

Not much has gone right for the Seminoles so far this season.

New quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has struggled to get going and even had fans calling for his benching during Monday’s loss to BC.

And on defense, the Seminoles gave up 263 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground, with former FSU running back Treshaun Ward recording 138 total yards and a receiving score.

It was all too reminiscent of how Georgia Tech had its way with FSU in the season opener.

“There’s going to be plenty of negativity around this program. I understand that,” Norvell said. “When we perform the way we just did, that’s all part of it. But for our football team, you’ve got to stay together, and you’ve got to make sure that you’re there for each other. We’ve been knocked down. We know how to get up, but we’ve got to go do that.”

Florida State Seminoles fan backs himself into a corner with hilarious ‘dog poop’ bet, deletes X account..

A Florida State football fan is now in hiding after making a bet he couldn’t keep.

The fan, known as @321nole on Twitter boldly promised to eat dog feces if his beloved Seminoles lost to Boston College.

Unfortunately for him, Florida State suffered a 28-13 defeat, their second straight loss of the 2024-25 season, and now big names are calling him out for not honoring the bet he made online.

Fan in question appears to have abandoned social media

Last week, @321nole confidently declared that he would complete the horrific forfeit should his team lose.

He was so confident that FSU would get back to winning ways that it appears he didn’t even think out the consequences of his words.

“If FSU loses to Boston College, I’ll eat dog s*** out of a red solo cup with a spoon and post a video of me doing it. Book it,” the fan posted.

But as soon as the Seminoles fell to the Eagles, fans flooded social media, reminding him of his extreme pledge.

Instead of following through, the fan opted to delete all his social media accounts and disappear from the internet.

Backlash from fans and sports personalities

The move sparked widespread backlash. ESPN anchor Scott Van Pelt even addressed the situation on SportsCenter.

“You think you just get to delete your account? The internet ain’t gonna forget that, buddy.” Van Pelt added.

“People are gonna find ya. That’s how that works.”

Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III also chimed in.

“It’s not looking good,” he joked.

Despite his attempts to disappear, the internet remains relentless in reminding him of his unfulfilled bet.

Things may be tough for Florida State fans after the loss, but it’s even worse for @321nole. While he can try to erase his online presence, the internet never forgets, and this fan’s bold claim will continue to haunt him.
