College Football Network released its All-AAC preseason team today. Army saw five players in total represented with two placed on the second team.
Team captain S Max DiDomenico and OL Jordyn Law were announced to the second team.
LB Kalib Fortner was announced to the third team as RB Kanye Udoh and OL Brady Small were announced as honorable mentions.
DiDomenico, selected as a team captain for 2024, totaled 52 tackles and two interceptions a season ago, one coming as a pivotal play in the Army-Navy Game.
Law has been a mainstay on the Black Knights offensive line the past four seasons, starting in 23 games and appearing in 32.
Fortner emerged last season as a sophomore to play in all 12 games, totaling 68 tackles (30 solo), (third most on the team), 3.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and forcing fumble that he returned for a touchdown in the Army-Navy Game
Udoh, a native of Mays Landing, N.J. played in 10 games as a freshman, starting in five. He rushed for 524 yards (second on team) on 99 carries (5.3 avg.) with one touchdown. He was named the ECAC Division I FBS Rookie of the Year.
Small, a rising sophomore from Mt. Ephraim, N.J. started all 12 games a season ago. As a freshman, he anchored the offensive line playing center.

Daily ready to lead Army West Point into new season, conference
A new season and a new conference await Army West Point football. The Black Knights will be led by several key players in this new endeavor. That includes quarterback Bryson Daily.
There were many reasons for Daily to attend the United States Military Academy.
“Just big time football, a great education and first and most importantly, an opportunity to serve our country,” he said.
During his time as quarterback for Army West Point, Daily has earned many accolades. But the one that means the most to the senior is being named one of the four captains of the team for this season.
“It’s an absolute honor,” he said. “[It’s the] biggest honor in my life, to have these leaders of men, elected me as one of their leaders. It’s actually incredible.”
It’s an honor the Texas native does not take lightly, making sure to be an example of leadership every time he takes the field.
“I think the rest of our players are very confident when he’s in the huddle and believe in him as a leader,” said Jeff Monken, head of Army West Point. “They voted him captain for a reason. They could have chosen anybody on the team and they chose him. And I think they believe in him and trust him. And he’s certainly shows that every day when he’s here.”
As just the second Army quarterback ever to rush and pass for more than 900 yards in a season, Daily is looking to take the offense to another level this year, especially with eight offensive starters back from last season.
“I think every day we’re making strides, and that’s all you can ask for,” Daily said.
As summer camp begins to wrap up, the focus is now on Lehigh in the home season opener, and then the Black Knights’ debut in the American Athletic Conference at Florida Atlantic.
“Just getting this team better,” Daily said. “If we don’t make mistakes, if we play our brand of football, it will be anyone who comes in here.”
