The 26 year-old from Montreal, Quebec, Canada was signed by the Mayhem last season after being released by Knoxville. Picard scored one goal in the eight games he played for Macon. In his first SPHL season last year, Picard recorded 11 points (six goals and five assists) across 26 total games played for Roanoke, Knoxville, and Macon.
This move comes exactly one week after the team announced that Forward Tao Ishizuka has signed with the team for the upcoming season as well. The 25 year-old from Massachusetts made his professional debut last season with the Mayhem. He played in three games, scoring his first SPHL goal in the final game of the season.
