26th UK TOP 40 ALBUM SECURED BY DEEP PURPLE WITH =1
Deep Purple’s most recent studio album, =1, was just released. This week, the album debuts at number twelve on the UK’s Official Albums Chart.
According to the Official Charts: “British heavy metal legends Deep Purple see their 23rd studio album =1 become their 26th UK Top 40 LP this week (12).”
Deep Purple’s idea of unity among complexity is encapsulated in the mysterious album title, =1, which portends an album that will undoubtedly resonate strongly with their five-decade hard rock tradition.
