Just in; A league club Two confirms two-years deal with American midfielder(€338k deal )

Jeremy Kelly, an American midfielder, and recently promoted Crawley Town have reached an agreement on a new two-year contract.

Kelly became an integral part of the team that won the League Two play-offs after signing a short-term contract with the Red Devils in January.

The 26-year-old, who is capable of playing defense as well, played for the Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer for one season in the past.

According to Crawley manager Scott Lindsey, “We are delighted to have secured the services of Jeremy – he was fantastic for us at the back end of last season,” external

Salford City have signed goalkeepers Jamie Jones from Middlesbrough and Matty Young on loan from Sunderland.

The Ammies have lost two goalkeepers over the summer with Alex Cairns going to Leeds and Joel Torrance moving to Welsh Premier outfit Bala.

Jones helped Wigan to League One promotion in 2017-18 and has over 400 career appearances, including spells at Preston North End and Stevenage and loan deals at Coventry City, Rochdale and Stevenage.

He spent last season as number three keeper at the Riverside behind Seny Dieng and Tom Glover, and was released at the end of his one-year deal.

Young, 17, spent the second half of last season on loan at National League North side Darlington.
