Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum are urging people to see their brand-new original movie, Fly Me to the Moon.
In response to the dearth of spectators for original movies these days, Channing urged people to see Fly Me To the Moon even though it lacks superheroes.
“When people start complaining they don’t make original stuff anymore, it’s like, Okay, well, have you seen Tar?” asked the Magic Mike star during the movie’s Spanish premiere. Are you familiar with Anatomy of a Fall?
“Perhaps try watching a movie that isn’t a Marvel production, I say. Tatum said, “I see other things, but I enjoy those movies too.
“We’re in this transitional time where there’s a lot of power in the hands of the audience,” Marvel star Johansson concurred with her co-star.
“There will be more creative ideas produced if they go out and encourage them. Isn’t that just the way things work out? She continued.
Johansson went on, “The studios are in dire need.” Making movies is a difficult business.
Johansson portrays Kelly Jones, a marketing whiz who is hired to publicize the 1969 Apollo 11 moon mission, in the film Fly Me To the Moon. In contrast, Tatum plays a NASA official who works with Kelly and arranges to shoot a simulated lunar landing in case the actual one doesn’t go as planned.
