Teyana Taylor and Alana Haim will feature in a new Paul Thomas Anderson film.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming film will feature stars Alana Haim and Teyana Taylor.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alana, 32, will work with her director Anderson from “Licorice Pizza” again on the movie, which also stars Teyana, 33, from “A Thousand and One,” Wood Harris, rapper Shayna McHayle, and newcomer Chase Infiniti.
Along with Sara Murphy and Adam Somner, Anderson will produce the untitled film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Regina Hall in addition to the previously announced protagonists.
While the movie’s logline is being kept under wraps, Deadline recently revealed that it will have a “contemporary setting and is the most commercial one [Anderson] has attempted.”
Additionally, Anderson has received nominations for his films “Inherent Vice,” “Magnolia,” “Boogie Nights,” and “Phantom Thread.”
It was recently disclosed that Alana, Este, and Danielle, her siblings, are co-producing their fourth album.
A video that was shared on social media last month with the hashtag “HAIM4” revealed that the “Summer Girl” trio was back in the studio working on their most recent album.
“When your sisters are making you get back in the studio but you were born to be an Oscar award winning actress,” says the text on a TikTok.
In the video, Alana mimics the popular line from actress Mia Goth’s horror movie Pearl, “Please, I’m a star.”
