Eric Clapton went on yacht voyages and enjoyed time in the sun while on vacation with his family in Corsica, France. Ruth, the eldest child of Clapton, together with his wife Melia McEnery and their kids Julie Rose, Ella May, and Sophie Belle, all strutted the beach and had a good time on the trip.
Fans were blown away by Eric’s stunning figure, which he displayed at the age of 79 while donning black sun shades, a statement silver necklace, and blue lace-up shorts. His youthful appearance belied his advanced age, as his short gray hair typically fell into a natural side part.
With a special place in his heart for his daughters—he even wrote a song in 2006—Eric is the epitome of a girl parent. Before 1991, when he was a kid and fell from a 53rd-floor window of a New York City apartment, he used to have a son. He spent a long time grieving over Connor and expressed gratitude to his girls—Ruth in particular—for supporting him during that time.
