Johnny Depp’s new career move amid time in UK and new Amber Heard documentary

Johnny Depp has been renting an art studio in London’s West End and is throwing himself into his side gig as an artist.

Johnny Depp is diving deeper into his passion for painting during an extended sojourn in London.

The Hollywood icon, who has been soaking up the British culture for half a year, has snagged himself an art studio in the bustling West End of London and is dedicating time to his artistic pursuits, as per The Daily Mail. The swashbuckling Pirates Of The Caribbean lead has long had a love affair with the brush, but it was only last year that he ventured into the commercial art scene.

In a stunning debut, Depp raked in a cool $3.8million within mere hours by selling prints from his inaugural collection. His artwork paid homage to four personal muses: rock legend Keith Richards, silver screen queen Liz Taylor, Hollywood heavyweight Al Pacino, and folk music icon Bob Dylan, each piece adorned with Depp’s signature spontaneous strokes.

When Depp’s gallery, Castle Fine Art, unveiled the collection, the overwhelming fanfare crashed their website, spurred by an Instagram announcement to his 27 million followers. Reflecting on his art, Depp shared, “I’ve always used art to express my feelings and to reflect on those who matter most to me, like my family, friends and people I admire. My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should ever limit themselves.”, reports the Mirror.
