Ozzy Osbourne Cancels Monster Movie Convention due to serious health challenge__ Doctor’s Orders

Ozzy Osbourne has pulled out of an appearance at the Mad Monster Party film convention on doctors’ orders.

The Black Sabbath frontman was set to appear at the Arizona convention next month alongside wife Sharon and daughter Kelly, but Sharon has since told fans he is currently unable to travel and won’t be attending.

In a video statement, she said: “Regretfully, the Osbourne family have to cancel our upcoming appearance at the Mad Monster Party in Phoenix because Ozzy is unable to travel at this time.”

She added that their son Jack would be there, “flying the flag for the Osbournes” in their absence. Referencing the “Osbournes: The Ultimate Sin Package” packages fans had paid $666 for, she said: “Everybody who bought the Osbourne package will, of course, get full refunds.”

Sharon, who is currently working on an “irreverent” superhero cartoon starring Ozzy and the late Lemmy Kilmister, also thanked fans for their constant support.

Sean Clark, owner of Convention All Stars, followed up in a Facebook post to explain Osbournes doctor instructed him not to attend. “These kinds of posts are no fun but I hope the fans will understand,” he wrote. “Ozzy really, really wanted to attend Mad Monster Party in AZ next month but unfortunately his doctor said he has to sit this one out.

“Let’s all wish Ozzy the best and a speedy recovery. Also Jack will be bringing pre-signed items to be sold at the show for those wanting to get something signed by Ozzy or the family.”

Despite being plagued by health concerns in recent years, Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler has said Ozzy  “desperately wants” to play one final show, with the pair vowing to play one more time back in May.

Elsewhere, Ozzy has been in usual jovial spirits, and has recently been featured in an advert warning fans not to snort Liquid Death’s Death Dust.
